Description
Bungy, the test-winning mooring spring that can be easily and quickly attached to the rope, without requiring a free end. Suitable for ropes up to 20 mm. Made of a weather-resistant rubber-like material that does not leave marks on the rope. Bungy offers excellent elongation properties and retains its shape without weakening. Also suitable for use on the mainsheet to absorb forces, for example, during jibing.
The number of Bungys needed per line depends on the size of the boat. A larger boat requires more Bungys than a smaller one.
Recommendation for a 9-meter boat:
- Permanent mooring: 4-5 bunghy
- Temporary mooring: 2-3 bunghy
- Mainsheet: 2 bungy
