Drysuit Sock Seal Replacement Set of 2

Replace torn sock seals of your drysuit easily with this repair set. The set includes 2 sock seals, contact cement and a piece of sandpaper. The upper part of the socks is the same size for each size.

Replacing Seal

1. Cut the old seal along the edge of the drysuit.
2. Put the drysuit and sock seal around a bottle that has been made to the correct thickness if needed using newspapers and tape.
3. Fold the part of the seal that will be glued to the drysuit by 3-4cm.
4. Sand and degrease both parts and apply a first layer of contact cement.
5. After the glue dries, apply a second layer and let this layer dry for about 5-10 minutes until it still feels slightly sticky.
6. Fold the seal back in one go to where it should be and press both parts together well.
7. Let the glue dry at room temperature for at least 24 hours before using the drysuit again.
