Fresh Marine Drinking Water Antifreeze 5 Liter

Fresh Marine Drinking Water Antifreeze is a antifreeze for use in the drinking water and exhaust systems on board. This product is safe, non-toxic, and can be used up to -25˚C. It is suitable for use in drinking water systems, exhaust systems, toilets, tanks, and valves. The antifreeze ensures that the liquid does not freeze into hard ice, but rather into a soft paste, preventing systems from freezing.

Antifreeze Usage:

Drinking Water System:

Drain the water tank and pipes first, then pump the drinking water antifreeze through the system until you see a green light foaming liquid coming out of the taps. Before using the drinking water system, make sure to thoroughly flush the entire system with fresh drinking water!

Toilets:

Completely empty the toilet, then pump the antifreeze through the system and close the valves. Remember to treat the inlet hose valve by blowing through the hose, closing the valve, filling it, and then reassembling it. Also treat waste water tanks, pumps, and valves with the drinking water antifreeze. When the onboard toilet is ready to be used again, you can simply flush it with external water.

Engine Exhaust System:

Close the inlet valve, remove the cap of the strainer pot, and start the engine to drain all the water from the system. Then stop the engine immediately. Pour the antifreeze into the strainer pot and start the engine until a green light foaming liquid comes out of the exhaust. Stop the engine and close the strainer pot. When you are ready to sail again after a long period, you can start the engine by opening the intake valve for cooling water.
