• In case of bad weather or when the bimini top is not needed, it can be:

If your boat falls between two bimini top widths, it's generally more convenient to bend the narrower version out by 10 cm rather than the wider version in by 10 cm. This helps prevent the bimini top from protruding outside the boat.
