16m2 Top Cover Polyester PU

This 16m2 top cover is made of breathable polyester coated with a PU coating. The material is relatively thin but strong. Unlike other 16m2 top covers at Kuipers Nautic, this material is not solution-dyed, meaning it may slightly discolor over time in the sun. However, this is not an issue in this case since the top cover is already light grey in color.

The 16m2 top cover is designed to be used with a standing mast and covers over the boom. The tent features cut-outs for the shrouds, mast, and mooring lines. At the back, there is an opening for an outboard engine, which is covered by a flap. This flap can be removed if you have a motor on the back of the boat, or left closed. There are two zippers on the port side near the mast and back near the cockpit. Opening both zippers allows you to fold the section between them over the boom, creating a large open area. The tent is secured with removable sandbags, allowing you to adjust the weight and fold the top cover compactly. Additionally, there are 3 loops on each side for securing the top cover with lines under the boat to prevent it from blowing away in windy conditions.
