Tacking Stick Handle

This Tacking Stick replacement handle is made of carbon and features a plastic disc and a loop to attach your trapeze elastic.

• Dyneema loop for trapeze elastic

Please note: If lateral forces are applied incorrectly to the carbon tube, the carbon stick may split. Because it is not necessary to reinforce the carbon sticks with extra strength for proper use, and because they would otherwise become too expensive, we have chosen not to reinforce the sticks as standard.

If you have not sailed with tacking sticks before and/or if you want to make them extra strong, we recommend reinforcing the carbon sticks with epoxy and fiberglass/carbon at both the top and bottom.
