14 days Returns Policy

Exchanging or returning is possible within 14 days of delivery. The returns period starts upon receipt of the order. During the returns period, you can assess whether the items meet your expectations, just like in a store. Items can be tried on, but not used. Packaging may be opened, as long as it is done carefully.

 

Returning an order

For a full return, send the package postage-paid to the address below. There's no need to send an email. Returns outside the returns period will not be accepted. Click here to see the options for returning items outside the returns period.

 

Exchanging or partially returning an order

If you want to exchange or partially return something during the returns period and keep €49.95 or more (excluding shipping costs), you can use our free exchange service. You can send an email (only for exchanges/partial returns with a value of >€49.95) to [email protected] requesting a shipping label. In the email, specify what you wish to return and what you might want to exchange it for.

Note: To avoid unnecessary extra shipments, we will send a maximum of one shipping label per 30 days for exchanges/partial returns. To prevent shipments from being returned where the shipping costs are higher or comparable to the value of the shipment, items valued at <€10 cannot be returned at our expense.

Don't forget to include the order number or invoice number so we know who the shipment is from. You can do this by printing the invoice and including it, or by writing the order/invoice number on a note.

 

Frequently Asked Questions & Additional Information on Exchanging and Returning

Can I order the items I want to exchange in advance, so I get them faster?

In case of urgency, you can order the other items via the website. When the exchange service applies, this will not affect the situation. Any shipping costs incorrectly charged via the webshop will be refunded later.

If you're not in a hurry, you can first return the items you do not want to keep, and we will send the new items after we receive the return.

Things to watch out for when returning a package

1. Pack the items neatly. Preferably in the same way you received them from us.

2. Don't forget to include the invoice or order number, so we know who the package is from.

3. If you return a shipment yourself, make sure to ask for the shipping receipt at the drop-off point and keep it safe in case the package gets lost.

Large (>175cm) and heavy (>30kg) items are excluded from the free exchange service

Some items that are not shipped with our standard carrier due to their size or weight are excluded from the exchange service. This will be indicated on the product page for such items.

Where can I return an order?

When a shipment can be returned via the exchange service, you will receive instructions on how to return it along with the shipping label, including a link to the nearest drop-off location.

If you do not qualify for the exchange service, you can return the shipment yourself with a carrier of your choice.

Did you accidentally return a shipment with a shipping label you were not entitled to?

If you initially choose to return with a Kuipers Nautic shipping label, but end up keeping less than €49.95 worth of items, we will charge the €6.50 shipping cost for the used label.

Exchanging and returning outside the returns period

Returns outside the 14-day returns period are not possible. However, to offer a solution outside our returns period, exchanges are possible within 60 days for items or a store credit of equal or higher value. You have the following three options:

  1. Exchange for an item of equal or higher value.
  2. Exchange for a gift card, which can be used for future purchases.
  3. Have the order resent, provided it has already been returned.

Shipping costs for full returns

When you return an entire shipment within the returns period and do not exchange it for other items, only the return shipping costs are your responsibility. Once the items are received in new condition, the full purchase amount, including any shipping costs originally calculated at the time of the order, will be refunded.

Shipping costs for partial returns

When you return part of your order and meet the conditions to request a shipping label, returning is free. If you do not meet the conditions for free returns, then you will be responsible for the return shipping costs. Once the items are received in new condition, the purchase amount of the returned items will be refunded.

Shipping costs for exchanges

When you exchange items and meet the conditions to request a shipping label, returning is free. If you do not meet the conditions for free exchanges, then you will be responsible for the return shipping costs. In both cases, you will not incur shipping costs for the new items being exchanged.

Correction of calculated shipping costs after exchange or partial return

To ensure that everyone is treated fairly in the same way, the shipping costs of the order may be adjusted after an exchange or partial return. This ensures no advantage or disadvantage after exchanging or partially returning compared to other customers who buy the same items directly.

When, after partially returning or exchanging an order of €75 or more, the amount reduces to €75 or less, the shipping costs will be calculated as they would have been initially (€5.95 for purchases up to €10 and €3.95 for purchases up to €75).

If you exchange from an order of less than €75 to one of €75 or more, the initial shipping costs will be waived.
