SurfEars 3.0
This product is available in the following variants:
SurfEars 3.0 ear plugs allow sound to pass through, but block water, bacteria, and other dirt. This SurfEars 3.0 set is delivered in a case with parts in various sizes so you can easily custom fit them for your ears.
Improved Fit & Comfort
Earplugs that don't fit well don't work effectively and are also uncomfortable. Each ear is unique, so there is no one-size-fits-all solution for everyone. To improve the fit, the angle of the plugs has been adjusted. There is now a plug for your left ear and a plug for your right ear.
Both the wing and the part where the plug sits have been adjusted. The part where the plug sits now points slightly forward and slightly upward. This creates a better and more natural fit. Left and right have been given different colours so you always place the correct plug in the correct ear.
The plugs have also been improved. They have been redesigned and are now slightly softer and thinner. This provides more comfort and a better fit in the ear. Both the mesh part and the leash of the 3.0 version are more robust. However, it is still important to hold the plugs on the sides as much as possible when putting them in and taking them out to prevent the mesh part from detaching. The leash also has a new design with loops at the ends, making it possible to detach the leash when wearing a hood, for example.

Surfers Ear
A surfer's ear develops when bony lumps grow in the ear canal. This occurs when exposed to water colder than 20 degrees and wind, and even more with a combination of these two factors. The extra bone growth, also known as exostosis, is a natural defense mechanism with which the body tries to protect the eardrum. To prevent a surfer's ear operation, it is advisable to wear SurfEars.
Swimmer's Ear
Swimmer's ear is a painful condition caused by infection of the skin in the ear canal. It often occurs when water becomes trapped in the outer ear canal, providing a perfect environment for bacteria to cause an infection. This condition is common among surfers and swimmers.
